Initiatives

KAN is proud to offer many different educational programs that all support the vulnerable in Kuwait. On this portion of the site, you will find more information on each of the initiatives we are currently working on. If you would like to support our initiatives, please donate by clicking here.

Mental Health Program

Here at KAN, we believe mental health is just as important as physical health. Our board of directors and staff have participated in four-month long mental health training programs on topics such as risk assessment, suicide awareness, trauma awareness, and self care. As an organization supporting the vulnerable, we understand how important it is to prioritize mental wellness, and assist other organizations with the implementation of their own mental health training programs through the provision of subsidies. Further, we offer mental health leave days for our staff, to keep stress and burnout at bay.

Food Aid

Our Food Security Program aims to provide food supplies to the most vulnerable communities and individuals who struggle with food insecurity. KAN focuses not on just providing staples, but on providing nutrition to tackle the longer-term causes of poor health.
