KAN Skill Development Program

Our skills training programs are dedicated to help support training sessions for migrant workers that teach them their legal and labour rights in Kuwait while offering lessons in tangible skills such as sewing, cooking, and exercising Arabic and English skills.

Supporting programmes that develop skills and knowledge to various communities in Kuwait is the key to developing long-term solutions to poverty both in Kuwait and abroad. Our sewing program also provides KAN with high quality hand-made goods made by migrant workers which we offer up for donation to support our causes.

By buying handmade goods made by migrant workers, we not only provide them with much needed income, but we are able productively use their skills to gather donations to support them. In this method, workers are gaining skills, opportunities and the experiences they need in the future and we are able to support their sisters and brothers in the community that need help.
